The Vans Stovepipes Are Cooking Up Success
The Vans line is finally starting to do more than just their regular, low tip, hipster sneakers. And I love it. Most recently, I have been introduced to the Vans OTW Stovetop’s which I have absolutely fallen in love with. The shoe is a sleek high top that was introduced in the spring 2012 collections and just became available to the public on June first. While the shoe may look more plain in design (And with the color choices of brown, black, wool, and navy its not one for the bright of heart) its still maintains a level of class and sophistication the brings out the “GQ” in all men.
Another plus about this shoes is its use of premium materials over most other shoes. The out sole is a vulcanized rubber that will be sure to last a long time. It has a full length midsole which makes it extremely light and comfortable, and the oil leather will keep the shoe from cracking over time, which is the case when the shoe has cheap leather. The premium materials will allow the shoe to have high endurance, which is planned considering vans is a skateboarding shoe, so every design has to be able to endure the roughness of a skateboard.
Although the shoe is new, celebrities have already caught on to its popularity. One huge advocate of the shoe is Lupe Fiasco. Probably because, well he is literally an advocate for the OTW brand. He was seen wearing them last month during his concert. Lupe is one of four advocates for the OTW line and the most notable out of them all. Although admittedly, another his song may help these shoes sell a little better, he hasn’t been on the charts for a while now.
Get this shoe quick, and be ahead of the style before anyone else! This shoe is an instant class with its sleek design, and will make you the envy of all your friends.
